Been reading the topic on bulk 22 shells. What is readily available and cheap in the .17cal ammo to entice someone to buy a .17cal???? Around the SE Sask I`ve seen them around $14 per box of 50. What would be the everyday smoking deal on these????
 
I see on Wholesale Sports website, they have what is called Hornady 17HMR in a 17 Mach2(HM2) for 8.49 per box of 50. These are a standard shell for any .17cal????
 
17hmr and 17hm2 are two different calibers.
17hmr is a necked down 22wmr
17hmr is a necked down 22lr

Cannot be used interchangeably.
