Hi,looking to purchase the best SA pistol 9mm 10 rd mag for IPSIC minor...need a real nice trigger..I have a G35 in 40 looking for something a little different in a 9mm... I was thinking Cz75b SA or CZ tactical sport.. a browning III.....or a STI ranger 9..TAZZ

IPSC

SA takes you out of production and into Standard. If you use 9mm in Standard you will be scored minor vs the others using .40. I would recommend choosing between SA and 9mm but not both in the same gun.

Right, Production requires you to fire first shot in DA. Guns with decocker are allowed thou. Personally, I like CZ SP-01 Shadow (9mm; Prod; Minor).
9mm will limit you to Minor.

If looking at SA gun and USPSA, you may as well look up a 1911 in .40S&W; you can use it in Limited 10 (with 10rd mags).

Evan thanks for the info...maybe a real smooth double like a Cz shadow would make more sense. I have not found a single action 45 I have clicked with yet that was reliable. I have come from shooting a browning medalist for years and 2-3.5 SA crisp triggers are the norm...TAZZ

A Shadow is what I'm shooting the most lately. It can be cocked and locked for all SA shots but you also have the option to de-#### it (manually) and still qualify for production with the first shot DA.

I recently had a 9mm Springfield 1911-A1 customized for shooting steel matches and enjoy it so much that I use it occassionally for shooting USPSA Limited 10 and Single Stack division. Yeah, I'm scored Minor but it's such a sweet shooting pistol I'm having so much fun I don't let it bother me.

I'd post a photo of it here if I could figure out how?
