What's the best solution?

I have a Colt Sporter MatchHBAR with a 20" barrel in the A2 configuration. I would like to have the same rifle with a flattop receiver. What would be the best cost effective way and the best solution to make a swap?

1- Buy a complete A3 upper
2- Buy a flattop receiver and swap the barrel and internals.
3- Sell the complete rifle and buy another one
4- Somebody who has the A3 and wants an A2 and just swap uppers
5- Another way i haven't think of yet

I'd just swap the receiver, but I have all the tools to change the barrel. You might be able to do an even trade with someone. Keep in mind your's is likely a largehole receiver so you will want the same in return. Other wise you will need an offset bushing.

Cheapest:- Buy new upper reciever only, tools and swap.
- Buy this, keep the upper (If compatible), sell lower
