What's the cheapest 9mm handgun?

What about a Norinco NP-22? Chinese P226 clone with a rougher finish. Everything else I've heard about the gun is solid other than grips and cosmetics. I fear even this may be beyond your budget though..

Also, if you're concerned about rust, nothing a little gun oil before storage can't fix! I have a gun oil soaked rag on top of my gun safe and I always give everything a good wipe down before it goes back in the safe. With that and a small silica bead dehumidifier from crappy tire I have never had any issues with rust.

This question is essentially moot now with all the used berettas at site sponsors. Get one. replace the locking block with a new style one.

..... I've shot a bunch of different ones in the past and thy are all essentially the same to me.

If you really found that to be the case then you may as well buy something cheap.

Me? I found that other than being roughly all shaped the same that there was a world of difference across the board. As a result after trying a whole bunch I opted for a CZ Shadow because I was able to easily feel a big difference in how it fit my hands and how the trigger felt and in the size of the groups I was able to shoot with that gun.

As if happens I bought two of the old Norinco M213 guns so I could play around with some beginner level gunsmithing. As it turned out both of them were excellent shooting guns. They really are one hand guns though. Two hands on a Tokarev really gets "cozy" and even crowded. But there's no doubt that the two I had were EXCELLENT shooting and accurate guns. Mind you in stock form the triggers felt AWFUL! Very heavy with quite a lot of creep..... but then apparently they all feel the same to you so I guess you won't notice that.
