Whats the cheapest brandnew Semi-Auto Shotgun?

The Turkish semi auto's are a good deal for the price. I had one and sold it to a buddy. No issues cycling but it is only 4+1 and not 5+1 (barrel has to be loaded before the tube), the finish and fit of some things on it aren't that great (top rail came off, a pin knocks out now and than on the reciever), the heat shield doesn't stay on that well either. Overall for $400 new hard to complain since it cycles great.

One gets what one pays for! The cheap stuff does not cycle all ammo. Parts are not readilly available including chokes. Service, what service for any shotgun nevermind the el cheappo! Could you do 27423 rounds without cleanning? Nope! But a Beretta 390 will do it and so will 391! A little of Break Free, a great design, nothing really changed for over 20 years, the 390 and 391 Berettas are the most reliable and long lasting semi-auto shotguns! Try to proove me worng! I have data and pictures!

Regards,
Henry;)

Hey thanks again for all the awesome info!

Now, the baikal, is it uber picky over what it wants to eat?

Thanks again!

Kevin

I have the Remington SPR-453...(identical to the Baikal) and it'll eat anything. It's big and heavy and overbuilt and reliable...goes boom every single time I slap the trigger. Bought it fopr $536.00 from LeBaron in Ottawa

Recognize that guns like the Beretta, the A5, etc. are guns that can handle ridiculously high volumes of shooting effortlessly. They will last your lifetime, and your grandchildren can probably shoot them as well. Not everybody needs so much durability, which does come at a price. Other guns are made more budget-conscious (castings, stampings, roll pins, etc.) and obviously won't last for two lifetimes of heavy shooting. But they'll certainly do their job for the average hunter quite well.

Well I've had Berretas a mosberg 935 ulti mag a winchester SuperX I also had a browning gold hunter after watching the Vidieo on the Baikal MP 153 2 years ago I bought one. And never looked back the other companies should be ashamed the Baikal is all I own for a shot gun now no more failures . It is fantastic I love mine there is nothing worse than shot gun that don't work where you have spent Hours to set up decoys and a day or two spotting just to have a gun that is no better than a single shot .
Wait till you can get the Baikal or you will wish you had. They ain't Pretty buy they WORK!

I got a Bakail this summer for this falls Goose season..... I think mine is pretty good looking..... Shoots great, accurate and I've never had a problem with mine.... I am about 750rnds in now (mostly skeet) and nary a hiccup.

Mine was $475 incl. shipping...... More reliable than my hunting partners Beretta..... I saved about $1000!!!!

Cheers!

I too have the remington SPR-453 (Bakail) It after the initial break in i've put maybe 700 skeet loads through it no problem. Another thing that is neat about these guns is the adjustable gas system takes 30 seconds to adjust and it can help reduce felt recoil for new shooters.

I bought it after seeing those videos too never looked back more reliable on the skeet field than my uncles Benneli at least head to head on the skeet field
