So… Suppressors are illegal in Canada, right? So what's the big draw for a threaded barrel?
I don't get it…
Its just a tease...........so you don't forget that suppressors are illegal since the only thing you can screw on there is a fake suppressor![]()
Um... Muzzle breaks, compensators, flash hiders, decorative muzzle devices... take your pick.
Fake cans? Sounds like my neighbor.![]()
Some models come in a 4" standard barrel length from the makers.
To make them rest. in Canada, a quarter inch is added.
This little nub sticking out past the slide, looks less ridiculous(to some), if threaded and sometimes capped.
And fake silencers look cool, to the same people.
My opinion, anyways.
Most of the centerfire stuff is intended for suppressors, or just the tacticool look. On rimfire guns they're a touch more usefull in that you can use comps, barrel weights, fake can's, and such.
Not to derail this thread, but why do you feel that you need a comp on a rimfire? Or a barrel weight? I've never had trouble controlling a .22.
