whats the difference between these 2 barrels

Im doing a new build here now and im thinking of going with a daniel defense barrel. I have found a few that I am interested in from different places. Id like to know whats the difference.

DD barrels are made in house and Cold hammer forged making them accurate and durable. I'm not sure how S&J barrels are made. Maybe BBB can chime in

They are the same DD barrel, S&J just has it at the older price when our dollar were much stronger.

If I recall, the first batch of DD barrels were originally $279 from Wolverine. Then prices of the new stock went up to $319. Possibly S&J still has some of the earlier stock with cheaper pricing. Why spend $40. more than you have to? You can buy a LP gas block with that $40.

The Daniel Defense 14.5" M4 profile barrel is the most accurate barrel i have ever had on my AR. Far better than acceptable military standards!
