I've seen a lot of people going to the Remington Versa Max. For 3-Gun I use a Versa Max Sportsman with several added accessories. Runs awesome.

The M3K looks like a bargain, but won't be out until March in the US, so I doubt we'll see it here until May or later.

The M3000 is getting to be very popular in the US, and is basically an M2 knock off. Lots of good 3 gun competitors are modifying them and having great success at less than half the price of a Benelli.

I have a benelli m4. Probably not the most popular but It look cool..... Lol. I can put 8 rounds in the gun if I ghost one.

Versamax in 3.5 seem to get good reviews too.

Thanks guys, I'm leaning toward the M2 as I would rather buy once, cry once but what would I be giving up if I were to call Casey at Tacord and have him sell me a Versamax with his full 3 gun work done to it?

M2 would be a good choice, in fact its my First Choice, but because of budget consideration I went with the Beretta 1301 Comp 21", regardless which SG, a little of modification still needed ( lifter, loading port, sight ), good luck

Ok so little update, I've been talking to Casey and I'm really close to pulling the trigger on one of his versamax builds.

Another question, what chokes are good to have for 3 gun? I'm guessing IC and LM, maybe M also?

Edit to add another question: What barrel length?

No as I haven't got it back from Casey yet. Hopefully very soon.

Besides most of the modifications are what you see above & below, other than installing FO sight & extension tube, the stock/barrel are identical to a stock VM Sportsman. Mine does not have the Mesa Tactical sling mount on the barrel.

For you Versamax owners, make sure you order the Benelli parts that you'll soon need.

Parts can take along time to receive in Canada.
