Looking for info on pricing on 2 Brno model 1's.

First one is 1949 with meopta Malov 2.5x scope and leather scope pouch. Stock is a new made walnut duplicate of the original with Schnabel from a stock maker in the US. (Not Boyds).
Optics are near perfect as is the leather case. Bore is 9/10, and only blemishes on the metal are along and below the stockline but light pitting only.
Action is slick and trigger is very Nice.

Second is 1950 with meopta Lesar 3x, no leather case.
Same stock as above, bore 10/10 and only below stock line blemishes.

These rifles are complete with sight hoods, leather slings and proper stock hardware (original Brno buttplates) and 10 round steel magazine.

Any help pricing them will be great appreciated!!

Do you want them for shooting, or for collectors items?. I shoot everything I own, so I would never pay over the current price for a new CZ. I am not a history buff, but I enjoy well made firearms.
As collectors pieces the pitting & re-stocking would hurt their value. They sound like great guns to own and shoot. I guess I would be asking myself how much I really want them for me, or am I just going to resell them. I would be going for a good price for me that is fair to the seller.
People who deal in firearms and regular cgn'ers alike could help you more with pictures of the rifles.

The scopes on both rifles add little value to buyers interested in shooting rather than collecting. To maximize value the scopes would be worth more separately as would the rifles. Competitive pricing on Brno 1's may well be in the $500 - $700 range, depending on condition.

Interesting point, never looked at it this way.

The 5-700 for rifle alone is what I've seen also, but have never seen one for sale with the optics these were sold with back in the 50's-60's.

Just trying to even find one of these meoptas for sale is hard enough.

Thanks!
