What's the most comfortable and natural grip you've found on a semi automatic?

Pistol grips....

I like the 1911 with flat sided Pachmayr wraparound grips or stock wood grips. On 1911A1 GI pistols I like the factory checkered brown plastic grips.

I like the BHP MkIII with the factory black synthetic grips.

I like the Glock 22 +/or 17 just as it comes from the factory.

I like the CZ 75 with soft Hogue grip panels.

I like S&W 3rd gen pistols with soft Hogue wrap arounds.

NAA.

My 3 STI Edges that have been custom fitted to my hands.
If you like the 1911 grip style you will love the 2011 STI and SVI style grips with the magwells.

Beretta Vertec M96 which is a little straighter grip than the standard M92 and M96. Most comfortable pistol I have owned but I couldnt shoot worth a damn with it. Trigger was just too bad :(

Must be lots of small handed guys on this board. Single stack 1911 feels way too small for my hands. Better with the hogue finger grooves though.

I'll echo the cz 75 with hogue finger grooves as being the most comfortable, everyone who has held mine says the same thing too.

The glock is a close second for me *flamesuit on*

I love the smith&wesson sigma, it's totally natural for me like
almost magical, it hits where my eyes look, it's just too bad I
don't own my own, behind that I go with beretta 90two then for 3rd it's a draw between my glock 20 and a 1911. Those being the only auto pistols I have experience with.

1911 with flat backstrap is nice. I just bought a Sig P226, and it seems pretty comfy. I'll know more when I get a chance to shoot it. My Glock 20 is okay, but even my big mitts don't feel so big when I shoot that thing. I still like the feel of S&W factory grips, on a big frame revolver. Same with factory Colt grips, on a Python. The number, most comfortable grip, in my opinion, is on the good old S&W model 10 revolver.

I like the feel of the P226.

Just a question for the other 'nutz'

I like the look of the rosewood grips on the 226 Elite, but have never shot a 226 with them. Are they worth finding a set or should I stick with the stock grips?

Thanks
