Titegroup is pretty much the same for pistol, often sold out.

Any brand of primers as well as 4350 (either flavor), Varget, H4831(or SC), Re15, Re22, H110, and Unique.

I mostly use H1000, H50BMG, US869, Retumbo, 4350, and Varget for powder. Any magnum large rifle primers are good.

I only use CCI primers, they seem to work good for me.

I use a bunch of different powders, I mainly use trailboss but I also use HS6, titegroup, bluedot and unique.

For me the primers that are my standby are CCI, large and small pistol, large and small rifle in standard and magnum. Powders and in rifle my main ones are IMR in 4198, 3031, 4064, 4320 and 4350. There are also others that I use primarily for handgun that include Bullseye, Unique, 2400, H110 and as of late, Trail Boss.

Henry, a clever exercise would be to go to Hodgdon's online data center and cross-reference caliber with listed powders and see which ones have the most applications. In theory, those should be quite popular.

For my applications, I copied and pasted their data to a spreadsheet and sorted by powder to find the ones that were most versatile. I found that Varget, H4895, BL-C(2), IMR 3031, IMR 4198 all have lots of applications over a wide range of caliber.

Thanks for all your input. I'm getting closer to stocking some. Just jumping thru the government hoops right now.
Are many of you buying in 8 lb kegs?

Ahhh, 8 lbs kegs, the impossible dream. Most places around here only sell 1 lb and limit you to a total of 2 lbs at a time

If available I would buy Varget and IMR 4350 in 8lbs kegs.

I organized a group buy for some of us local HBC'ers back in Jan. The largest Higginsons could/would sell us at the time was 4lb boxes and tubs.
Varget was in real short supply and one of my most wanted powders. IMR4350 was non existent, they offered H4350 in it's place. One would have to wonder if the two powders are so close in many respect, that one day the IMR line will cease???

Also Henry, if your able to get any CCI Mini mag, Velocitors or Stingers. You'd be the only guy in the LML

i swear by vihtavuori powders,but god it's tough to find that famous VV320 in canada....otherwise i use VV340 and will make a try with VN37. i think winchester primers is the sole brand of primer i can get ATM.
