hey i been chasing the internet on 7mm cartridges from way back, lots of coolies around... interesting to see the 275 HH is basically the early days Rem mag......
anyway
wondered with You Canadian Folk, who have some cooler guns than Us and more different Cartridges , What was your unique Cartridge hunt ? what species and some info on it?

For Me, so farrrr , i cant really decide on the One but id say the 35 Whelen and also the 303 British has been pretty cool Cartridge to have taken Sambar deers with!
maybe throw the 375 Win in too :)

nothing too unique here for me at this stage, however im sure your milage may vary

I have probably taken more deer with a .300 Weatherby Magnum than any other rifle I've had. It's not a real classic but was developed and produced in 1944. It is still to this day a pretty potent 30 magnum.
I recently purchased a .30-378 Weatherby Magnum but haven't taken it on a hunt. It was developed in 1959.
My first deer rifle was a Winchester 1894 .32 Special that my dad gave me in 1973. I'm not sure how old it was but it had some mileage on it.

Don't know if this qualifies but the majority of my deer have been taken with a 50 cal muzzle loader shooting 45 cal bullets.

The best buck I've ever taken was with a .250 Savage. I tend to hunt with a 7x57 (aka .275 Rigby) these days. And I've still got the 9.3x62 in case I ever get a bull moose tag again.

my first ml deer 577 1868 enfield 70 yds and one i would not do again mini 14 223 at 140 yds

Probably 8x56R and 9.3x57, rifles aren't hard to come by but hunting ammo is slim (9.3x57) to non-existent (8x56R).

Taken elk with 32 Special.
