what's the most useless gun ever

bear defence handguns

Thanks Boomer.

I haven't worked at the Study Centre, but some colleagues have, and they weren't terribly impressed with that place either. I also agree totally with your comment regarding having people not skilled or comfortable with shooting at a bear. No offence to any ladies on here, but I've seen female graduate students up in the field who had trouble carrying a pump 12 around, let alone firing one! I always feel more comfortable when I'm working with Inuit hunters, cause they have my back! We had two p-bears come through our narwhal tagging camp this past August in Lyon Inlet (NW Hudson Bay), luckily a couple shots over their backs convinced them there were better places to be!

Thanks again,

My arse. I have the M-14 clone, SKS and the following pistols, which are tough as nails shooters: 1911, the NZ-85, the Tokarev 54 and the M-93 Woodsman clone and have a lot of (accurate) fun with each. Only problems have come from my crappy reloads.

I have a few friends that have those little Norinco Tokarevs, and while they aren't pretty, they sure are tough fun guns at an excellent entry level price. I was thinking about getting one myself. :)

I have some guns in the safe worth $5000, right alongside a few Norincos. This argument holds no water, they are great guns for the money. What's with all the "sh1t on other gun owners choices" and snobery stuff lately? Seems like in a community of like interested individuals, some people feel the need to put down other people's choices, or what they can afford, and divide people when we're all here for essentially the same reasons; we like shooting. I'm not singling you out of accusing you or this jcbruno, I just see it as a general trend that honestly I find shameful. Though I must say, I do find your "name brand/Prada" argument amusing jcbruno, I'd just never heard the self respect argument regarding prices and brands outside of female teenagers, and elitist wannabe's. :runaway: :D
