Deact guns
Norinco and other clone guns have no uses for me
Norinco and other clone guns have no uses for me
1) Remington Moronx (the one that needs batteries to fire)
2) .22 bolt action with a non-rifled barrel. It is supposely made to shoot those useless .22 shotshell
I have something similar, except mines a 2mm pinfire blank gun (Berloque) with a thread on 7mm flare attachment, neat all metal capgun, kits are available to fire a #9 lead ball, only use I can see is scaring the cat.I need to change my answer. As lousy as the SKS is, you've convinced me that it does have a 'use'*. THIS baby, does not...

one gun traders guide and an NRA firearms assembly guide (still can't find the page) I own states that they are unsafe to fire, makes reference to "..interrupted screw type lugs..."QUOTE] M-10 Ross
Yes i think the Ross Rifle probly the worst gun man made because back in the first World War the Canadian soldiers were frustraded and refused to used these guns. When they got dirty after dragging them through the mud they wouldn't shoot right they'd jam so they take them down to clean them and if they took apart the bolt and put them together wrong the bolt would blow up in there face and cause fatal injuries to the soldiers. Some people died using this useless piece of crap gun . Friend of mine just received one of these from his uncle and ask me if we should shoot it i told not in million years . I dont know how the bolt stays in place after shooting it pulls back pretty easy not my type of gun.
my only dislike so far of the mini-30 is sitting in the shooting bench to the right of someone else who's firing it, and forgetting to bring a peaked cap, but since I have never owned or fired one, I can't say much else.I personally dislike the ruger mini thirties. Never shot one but I just don't see the point myself. I also don't like the ruger semi autos in .44 cal, don't remember the model# right now. It just seems a waste to have a 44 mag with only a 4 shot clip. Don't get me wrong though I'd still buy one even though I'd never use it hunting. I'm also not a huge fan of the savage #24 o/u shotgun/rifle. It would make a good coyote gun but I find the barrel selector awkward and talk about ugly!
Not really a hunting and sporting gun but I hate handguns. Wouldnt bother me one bit if they were wiped off the face of the earth and replaced with bolt actions.
well sonny boy,you got me on my soap box now! Seems the sks prooved extreamly reliable in the Vietnam war. This tiny country full of goat hearders and farmers had black powder rifles and sks riles to fend off the whole U.S army!! and they did just that! sks crapy my @ss. You want a crapy gun,.. look at the 38 webley or 38 enfield. Id rather have a large rock to throw.![]()
I guess a 44 mag and 7.62 x 39 would be pretty good "bush" guns but I'd rather have the 44 in a marlin lever than a ruger semi auto due to mag capacity (i know i know make the first shot count) I just personally don't like the mini thirty due to the way it looks. I guess most of the reason i don't like the sav 24 is due to me being a lefty which makes the selector awkward. Different strokes i guess. But I'll stick to my bolts for the open and levers for the bush and the nostalgic feeling i get when carrying my 94
Considering where I live, you can only hunt with a shotgun or rimfire, do you mind explaining why this is stupid?
My vote goes to the ......you guessed..the crappy sks.......![]()
It is stupid.Buckshot has s**tty penetration and at any effective range has a s**tty pattern. No need to use buckshot for big game in this day and age of high velocity sabot slugs. At least use the cheap foster style sluggers.
For anyone that hunts in a shotgun-only area for big game, should spend a few $$ and get a rifled barrel.
Shotguns with a barrel shorter than 14", and anything made in China.
For anyone that hunts in a shotgun-only area for big game, should spend a few $$ and get a rifled barrel.
Many shotgun only areas in Canada also mentioned multiple projectile use only...which makes the rifled barrel useless at that point.
It really depends on where and how you hunt. While I don't hunt with buckshot myself, it has it's place in brush where shots on deer are fast and inside 30 yards or so.
I agree. It,s hard enough fighting the anti-firearm crowd trying to take away our freedom of firearm ownership, when the supposedly "CGN brothers in arms" don't respect each others freedom of speech.Lot of repressed anger on this board, and sadly, clear indication of no future for firearms ownership in Canada...![]()
