what's the most useless gun ever

It's interesting how times change, and opinions with them. Back in 1944 when the first SKS rifles arrived on the Belorussian Front, an awful lot of half-frozen and half-starved Russians probably would have voted the SKS the best rifle ever invented. ;)

No that would have deffinatly been the CZ52,and the SKS,and Many German soldiers would have voted them bad ass as well! That and the Russian winter!

Bob:eek:

Man, this thing gave me a boner! What is it?

Anything with the workd "tactical" associated with it. Not really military, certainly not "sporting", usually overpriced, and almost never to be used for anything but make-believe. Note all the adolescent references on CGN about "zombie" guns or sometimes "bear protection". I'll leave them all to the urban adolescent market.

Hate to say it, but I actually enjoy using my AR-15 on prarie dogs and pocket gophers.........can't get too much more tactical than that, tis a DPMS AP4. And it is darn near a one holer at 100 yards. So you argument doesn't fly with me. Les

Consider for a moment that your favorite rifle whatever it may be is a direct descendant and prob' mostly unchanged from it's military "tactical" ancestors.

Also note that many firearms companies are paying attention to the fact that so called modern tactical features are catching the eye of the consumers, so many and are incorporating these features into their hunting arms.

If it works use it. :)

American

Unless my range were to be overrun with gophers, there'd be no gopher hunting up here with them.

I'd say the only thing that makes a gun useless in this country are the laws governing the use of them. AR's and gophers being a prime example. So many purposeful guns for protection or hunting, are relegated to range use only. When I'm downtown coming home from work late at night, I'd have to say my glock sitting in the safe at home is the most useless gun.

A gun safely tucked away in the back of the truck while driving into your site when you spot a doe standing 15 ft from you on the side of the road. Did I mention I also have an antlerless tag.

Never again....
