ANY BOLT ACtion rifle.....When you are left handed.....
pretty funny to watch my (lefty) dad shoot, but I'd say the semi 10/22 is worse than the bolt, brass ejecting directly in front of his face and all. It'd be nice if he had money to buy his own guns, as I don't have extra $$$ to buy leftys for him.
The .22 autos don't bother because My right eye is closed but I do see empties eject out of my semi-auto shotgun.I believe this is because I don't close both eyes. Follow up shots with a bolt action are a pain for a southpaw.I guess thats why I make the first one count...I do love my Ruger #1...

I've found my .303's are very forgiving in this regard, I dont' seem to have a problem with working it cross handed, (most of the time)

Gotta resurrect this one. I didn't read all the posts and I REEEEAAALLY hope its a double post but the Rem 597 has to be one of the most dangerous rifles out there. So many people buy this cheap 22 as a starter for a newbie and they are just dangerous. All the gun counters in my area refuse to display them even though they are dozens in the back. Buy the darn 10/22 and pay the extra $50 if you have to!!
Most useless gun I've had was a safari arms 54 cal hawken. One day it would group well then the next it couldn't hit the side of a barn. Worst POS I used to own.
Next is my weatherby mk V 300 mag. It shoots ok but the wood is so pretty that it is useless to take any where for fear of scratching it.

Straight pull bolt actions can have possibly an attachment to have a bolt handle bridged over to the left side and the K31 pretty much ejects straight up so ejecting in the shooter's face shouldn't be a problem either.

For all those people that said the SKS is a useless rifle......send yours to the USA. We love those rifles down here....even the Chinese ones.
Not quite right! A RIGHT-handed BA rifle is useless to a southpaw, but my buddies LEFT-handed bolt action has done some nasty stuff to me (I am NOT Wrong-handed).

ive put 4000 or so rounds through my sks in the 5 or so months that Ive had it and never had a jam or anything else. I can sit and pick off clays all day without a problem. I dont see how that can be labled as useless.
