It's called the "Op Rod Guide" and NO, it should not move!

Actually a little side to side movement is normal and ensures operation in adverse conditions.

For the purpose of match shooting, it should be tight.

Oops, sorry, we build "Match rifles" not service rifles as we suspect that very few of our matched up rifles will get to Iraq or Afganistan! (LOL)

Just saying that by design, a little movement is acceptable and normal.
