What's the smallest non-red-dot x1 optic?

I like x1-4 scopes, but they're all pretty big. Is there something that's like a x1 scope but is the same size as an Aimpoint T1? I don't want a red-dot, because I find it imprecise (2MOA) and of course relies on battery.

Thanks.

I sorta agree, if you aren't looking for power, good iron sights?
However I have a 10/22 and don't have the rail length for irons. So I sorta understand. I have a TRS-25, I set the dot as faint as I can so I can see though it.
Any tactical scope should to the trick. Are you looking for weight or size as your big concern? LOL you could put a air rifle scope on, but it wouldn't last as long and may not hold it's zero.

You realize of course that for the Micro T1 you change the battery every US election (every 4yrs). ;)

If you're only want 1x power, then red dot or irons is the way to go.

I don't want to use the iron sights for the same reason that people buy red dot sights - quick target acquisition. A nice T1 sized x1 non-red-dot scope would beat iron sights any day, and arguably a red-dot too.

I don't think what you're looking for exists, and doubt it ever will. The closest I can think of is a 1.5x Acog. As has been suggested, if you want no magnifiation at all stick with irons or a red dot. A 2 MOA dot isn't really that imprecise on anything that you want quick target aquisition on.

not really...illuminated dot is easier to pick.up then black cross hairs.

Sounds like you need a laser ....lol

Ok so staying with what you asked, the tactical scopes are what your looking for, an ultralight compavt scope.
Leupold has one, 8.5oz 3-9x scope. However it's $650+
I was thinking about getting it because of its weight and realistic 8x, but I gave my head a shake after looking at the price again!
I asked for reviews here but no one posted.

What?

He wants something the size of a T1 with no magnification, and you suggest a compact 3-9? LOL

Sorry, I found that kinda funny.

OP, buy a friggin T1 and be done with it. Do you really need more than 2 MOA accuracy? Is the gun gonna shoot better than that? Using the dot with a 6 oclock hold and aiming with the top of the dots arch is actually quite precise. As far as durability and the electronic issue, they are built like a rock, and battery is not an issue.

Am I reading it wrong? I thought he was looking for a compact 1-4X

If you are looking for 1X the Leupold Prismatic has an etched reticle that works with or with out batteries,

That's the one!! Thanks!!!!!!

Also, I noticed there was a Trijicon ACOG x1.5 which would work also.

Which do you think is better the ACOG x1.5 or the Leupold Prismatic?

Thanks everyone!
