What's the top AR brands?

In all seriousness, the list will be different base on a couple things...fit/finish/reliability/price etc...
Everyone agree that Colt, Noveske, LMT, DD etc have good finishes. (Cost more $)
But when it comes to reliability and bang for the buck....Norinco wins.
 
I just bought an Armalite from Wolverine. $1150ish and I couldt be happier. The build quality is top notch and she shoots like a dream. You really dont have to spend 2 grand to get a really good AR. There's lots of options out there and 99% of them will be more than adequate at the range. Don't listen to the mall ninjas trolling on here. Start with a reasonably priced basic gun. The great thing about the AR is that you can make it into anything you want as you come to realize what you like or don't like.

Top Brands, in no specific order: Colt, H&K, KAC, LMT, Noveske, Vltor, Daniel Defence, Bravo Company (BCM), Sig Sauer… I think that about covers it…

I am currently working on a build, parts so far are from Vltor, Noveske, LMT, Colt, KAC, Magpul stock and a Geisselle trigger…

IMHO, there are many top tier manufacturers that make just as good or better products than Larue. KAC, DD, LMT to name a few. They are overated simply because their products are extremely hard or almost impossible to get, not because they are king of the hill. Supply vs demand. Larue does not give a s**t about the Canadian market. We should not give a s**t about Larue. KAC, DD & LMT all have military or LE contracts to fill, but still respect us as a market no matter how small we are.

i understand that larue is somewhat hard to get as some of their products, but i find the most problem with alot of these companies is they are just to backed up with orders to even think of taking in more clients, as for larue not caring about the canadian market may be false i as i heard that they are just over their heads with oders they cant fill. as for what the origional question asked as in top brands of what pp think, im sure its safe to sat larue deserves to be at hte top end of the scale as thier products are one of the top notch brands.
