anybody know what this shoulder stock would fit?or what it may be worth
Its small i think it may be for a .32 or maybe.38? maybe a merwin hulbert like the one pictured here.

It looks like it was made to fit a Colt by the shape,try a 1851 Navy and if it fits I will give you $100 for it....:D

I bought it for my 1851 colt but it doesn't fit it falls off because it's the wrong angle. the front of the grip fits but the back of the grip just clamps on the bottom tip of the grips.
 
Did you try to wrap a rag around the butt of the 51 navy before you put on the stock??:confused:

Might help it to grip, if it works, make a sleeve out of leather.

In the "mouth" of the grips maybe there were leather pads in there to take up the slack and hold it securely.


Its a neat thing.
 
Use 1/4 inch thick Leather to pad it where it dont fit perfect.

Looks like its for a H&A 44 40 large frame revolver, i think i seen one with that type of stock on it on GB awhile back.
