What's this M94 worth?

Its a pre-64 (1949) Winchester Model 94 .30 WCF fitted with a new Williams peep sight. The wood has been refinished in tung oil. What would be a reasonable price for it?

It looks to be in nice shape for the year, I would think around $400 to $500 would be fair.

How about the value of the ones with the Canadian Military markings, used for homeland defence in WW2?

The scratch on the side and the marks from the sight mounting, are the worst marks, by far, on the whole rifle.

have you got the origional back sight, i dont think the peep adds anything to the value, other than its a better sight to use, nice gun just the same ,mine is a 1956 model no peep sights same shape, not for sale, they are harder than you think to find a good one like yours for sale for under $400, more like $500+, wade

Thanks Wade. Yes, the original sight is on it. I can 't remember seeing the military marked ones at a gun show, I guess everybody (we) hang onto them.
