If anything? Right now, it's just taking up safe space. It's powered by CO2 I guess, it has an internal reservoir in the handle- you can see the nipple. Apparently it fires plastic pellets- the slide racks, which is what led to the piece breaking off.

That looks like it's powered by propane/green gas. Some quick google searching shows that apparently ASGK is some kind of proof mark on airsoft guns from a 'regulatory body'. Need some kind of other identification mark, you might get better answers at airsoftcanada.

Don't think it's worth much, you can get a full metal umarex ppk in the US for about $120. Can't get the airsoft version here in canada, but the airgun version is about $80.

Were you brought it new and comes with the box/documentations?

ASGK is not a brand name.... it stands for Air Soft Gun Kumiai, which is a airsoft gun association in Japan that set the performance safety standards for stock unmodified airsoft guns, much like what the Underwriters' Lab (UL) does for many common products.

The PPK in question is made by Maruzen(if you look carefully on the marking at the front on the left of the slide you can see "Maruzen" right below the Walther logo) and I suspected that it is the old fixed-slide(non-blowback) version........

As we can't discuss airsoft guns here, post the pics at ASC and see what they will say about it.

Polyshot, thanks for the info, I've edited the thread title to reflect that. I inherited this a while back, and have no use for it, so I'm trying to find out how much it's worth, and I'll sell it if it's worth the bother. I did sign up at ASC with that in mind, but gave up when I saw the bit about "age verification".

Well try the airsoft/reenactment/paintball section of militaryphotos.net or go to classicairsoft.org.......
