My brother in law brought this by today. It has a .303 nitro proof on it and some other crown, crossed flags and other proof house markA.

Interestingly it was NOT sold out of service - if it had been then the broad arrow would have been met head-on by another one - making it look like a large asterisk.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Also, all the Parker-Hale conversions I've ever seen were clearly stamped 'Parker-Hale Birmingham England' on the barrel, the receiver, or both.
