Yes, but I had to chase you to get the tracking number and you did not tell me when you shipped my gun. I had previously explained the problems in my neighbourhood with Canada Post leaving guns on doorsteps.
You did not tell me that you had shipped my gun until after I had to resort to posting on the M&P thread and you stated that you had shipped it 'a few days ago' (stated on 19 Dec 07). CP shows the parcel being accepted at the Richmond BC sortation plant on 27 Dec 07.The sortation plant is not where Chris would have dropped the parcel for shipping....It's where the post office send the mail for.....here it comes........sortation
I still have no idea what class of service that you shipped my gun or when to expect it (CP still shows it in Richmond BC).
If you had told me that your 'free shipping' was Canada Post regular parcel (by the deliver time so far, I am guessing that is what you chose) - I would have paid extra for a courier or a higher level of CP service.
The point being, I do not have my gun even though CFC/MB CFO approved the transfer on 12 Dec 07, you have my money and do not seemed at all concerned that I do not have the item for which I paid for.

I have always had excellent service and prompt communication with Canam over MANY purchases. MY 2 cents.

I entered your email address into the Canpar system last week when we shipped your order, Bruce. Either we were provided with the incorrect email address, or Canpar did not send the tracking number.
FYI, if anyone is trying to call, please do so in the late afternoon. That is when the phone slows a bit and we are more likely to be able to answer your call.
Thanx for your patience.
Just a thought here BUT IT"S FREAKIN" CHRISTMAS.......do ya think shipping might be a tad bit slow right now......pull your panties outtta your crack and chill........(Just my opinion have not yet ordered from Chris)
If you have the tracking number plug it into the computer... it will tell you how it was shipped and when you should get it...
Of course that's no guarantee...This still hasn't arrived

Hey Buddy,
I understand what time of year and that Canada Post is slow. I understand that the sortation plant is not where Chris dropped it off, but it does not take over 8 days to go 25 km (even by Canada Post's standards).
Your reply does not take into account why Chris didn't answer my questions as to what class of service he sent my gun by.
As for the panties comment - that is a little juvenile, don't you think? I thought that this was an adult conversation.
hunter, have you phoned canpar?
Not sure how you get 8 days out of this.......you know it hit the sortation plant somewhere prior to the 27th (3 days ago) the 25th and 26 are stat holidays so by my count that leaves 5 business days over the busiest shipping period of the year IMHO you are overreacting
Here is what I get:
![]()
He stated on the 19th of Dec that 'it went out the other day':
http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1844697&postcount=25
Which means to me that it was sent out prior to 19 Dec, 27 minus 19 equals 8that being the amount of time that it took to go from the post office he dropped it off at to the time it showed up at the Richmond sortation plant.
If he sent it prior to 19 Dec I do not think that it would take Canada Post 8 days (or more) to get the parcel moved 25 km.
The point is that I had to chase him to find out when my gun was shipped, what the tracking number was. I had a legitimate reason to request this information due to Canada Post's past behaviour in my neighbourhood (leaving guns on doorsteps without a signature) and I explained this to Chris twice.
Do you think the CP employees work on stats? Or on weekends.......still does not add up to 8 'Business Days' which is how CP phrases their delivery terms.
Did you figure out how to use the tracking system......I have had parcels seemingly stuck at the sorting plant for days......and then magically have the parcel appear at my house while supposedly still being at the sorting plant.
If you think the tracking system will tell you when to expect the parcel forget it.... better luck winning the lottery
