Ordered a CR rig with holster, belt and 4 pouches on Friday through website specifying urgency to get stuff here for this coming weekend. I asked for rush shipping or to use my own UPS account. Received my confirmation email.

Called Saturday and spoke to a fellow there who assured me the stuff was in stock and Jason or whoever was sick but would call me to set up shipping.

Called yesterday. No answer. Left message expressing urgency that someone call me back so we could confirm items in stock and arrange shipping. Received no call.

Called today and spoke to the same fellow who I spoke to Saturday. He said they guy was still sick and he now wasn't even sure that he had what he needed but that they just got a new shipment in. He asked me to call back in a few hours. I asked if he could do it sooner as I if he didn't have the stuff, I would have to find an alternative source quick! He got mad and very rude and said that 8 boxes of the stuff were still in his car and he had just picked it up and that wasn't soon enough for me then go get the stuff somewhere else. I explained the urgency again and tried to reason the guy (without getting angry or rude) but he ultimately told me to phone Murray Gardner and order it from him.

WTF? Who is this guy? That is the worst online transaction I have ever experienced. Sorry to say it, but that guys was an incompetent a$$hole.

I just hope Murray Gardner can get my stuff here in time. I've been waiting for the BB course for quite a while.

There are only two people who work in that place, the guy who got "pissed" at you and Jason. Jason is a very pleasant kid to deal with. The last time I talk to Jason, he does not work weekdays at that place anymore. He only work at this place on weekends (Saturday & Sundays). I think the guy you talked to does not pack or unpack stuff in that store - he is the BOSS. I guess you will have to wait until Jason gets back to work to process your order.
To answer your question who is the guy who yelled at you? I assume that was Nick Alexakos. Who is Nick?? Well... welcome to IPSC. He is the president of IPSC organization. :D :D :D

Well then if I ever meet Nick, I will tell him to his face what I think of him. The way he handled the situation showed a complete lack of integrity and class. Online or in person, a deal's a deal. You don't leave someone hanging because you are too lazy to return a call or open a few boxes and then when pushed to action (politely), tell the customer to flog off and buy the stuff somewhere else. If there was any doubt that they had the gear in stock I would have done that to begin with.

Two words for you...

Freedom Ventures.

Talk to Sean, he'll help you out.

I talked to someone there. Very helpful and courteous but no CR stuff. Just speedsec and JR stuff as far as I can recall.

I have ordered from Murray Gardner and he is confident he can get the stuff to me by Friday, although it may be a bit more costly now that I am so close to deadline. It's worth it though. I had hoped to get the stuff from IPSC.org by Wednesday or so so I could practice a bit. I even offered to use my company's UPS account if it helped speed things up. Friday will work in a pinch and I'll cross my fingers that the package makes it here in time. Murray assured me that it would go out latest tomorrow morning and maybe even this afetrnoon. :) Thank you Murray! :D

No real names on canadian gun nutz, genius. You want yours on here?

Who are you referring to? The names you see in this thread are published everywhere, together with their association to the gun industry. Associating a private, cloaked username with the real name without permission is I guess a no, no; however, for those who are out there on the front lines of the industry, specifically as dealers for firearms and related goods, their names are part of how they make their living and there is no reason or need for them to hide them. They can correct me if I'm wrong.

Of course, they may wish on certain forums to use a cloaked username, but if so, I doubt they would put a logo of their company in their avatar or make posts relating to their company or referencing their company or personal websites.

Are either of those names on the ipsc.org store website? No. Then change the post.

It is moronic to make that person a target for theives just because you want to name drop. change it. PM sent to mods.

I'm sure his name is listed all over the net as the president of IPSC. Do you think anyone would think the president of IPSC would not have a firearm??

Plus, the guy is operating a shooting supply store. If he doesn't have his name on the store, then perhaps that should have been a red flag for me, and for everyone else. How do I know who I am sending my money to??

As it stands, this site has trader ratings for a reason, and I don't think it's wrong for us to express bad dealings with suppliers and warn other people of potential issues, just as I think it's appropriate for us to hallmark those who give great service. If you bought something from someone on the list that goes by "billy chump" and he burned you, would you post "billy chump burned me", or his name as you wrote on the check?

In fact, if you post just exactly that, the post will be deleted, and you will get a warning from a mod. twice, and you'll get banned.

I suggest you read the rules of the site.

Also: Sean's name is not the only one that has been mentioned in this thread.

Just order the JR belt from Freedom Ventures.

I was going to get the CR belt from the IPSC store but they said they only do pickup in Oakville on weekends, not to mention their price is not the greatest.

I never had anything other than great time with Jason and the IPSC Store, but I go there to pick up stuff directly, arranging the time ahead of time. He's only there few hours each week, so if it is for this weekend, I would guess you ain't gonna get it from them. Sorry...

I never had the pleasure of dealing with...Jason. Oops. Do I get banned now? <GD&R> ;)

I just talked to Murray. He's on it and it is invoiced, packed and will be shipped first thing in the morning. I am crossing my fingers that it gets here by Friday. Seeing as I only called him at like 3:30pm, that is pretty damn good service.
