What's up with S&W these days?

Are you saying you would like to see a new model S&W or are you not able to find product in your local gun stores? Reliable Guns and Lever Arms in Vancouver are showing S&W revolver stock in 629 and 686. Wolverine has a big boy 500. CGN EE also usually has good used S&W revolvers on a regular basis.

I have a PC 627 that I really enjoy. I have had it about 6 months and have put over 3K of 357 and 2k or 38SP through it. I used to go in and fire 30 to 50 rounds at a time and now I am up to 100 to 200 at least once and normally twice a week. What I am complaining about is that I have had a 460V on order that was supposed to be 4 to 8 weeks almost 3 months ago. Starting to PMO. It seems that most places which had stock of 629's and 686's are out too. Although I am not looking at them at this time, I just monitor the advertised stock of a number of places such as P&D and see it as either an indication of the lack of supply out of S&W or the complete bottlenecking of importation due to excessive border regs. I'd just like to know what is going on and why things are taking so long.
