Whats up with the Ruger M77 model rifles?

I am a recent Ruger M77 convert.
I like the CRF, the Mauser-style swing safety, and the fact that the bottom metal/trigger guard is made of steel.
And as a result, I am starting to sell off my Sako collection, lol.

These days my fav rifles seem to be in stainless/walnut .. and I recently traded this lil beauty for a Sako AV ..
a mint Ruger M77 Hawkeye RSI International (Lipsey's Special Edition, 1 of 250 made) in 7x57mm :

Full-length stock, 18.5 inch barrel. The quality of craftsmanship is very impressive. The feel and balance and pointability is just right.
In this, I think that I've have acquired something 'tailor-made' for deer hunting here in the West Coast's heavy timber .. :)
That's mine exactly but in a 308. Beautiful rifle and my favorite for looks of all time. I put a Bushnell 4200 1-4 30mm scope on it.
