my name is Dave. Live in niagara falls. Been hunting and fishing northern Ontario as long as i can remember. Deer, moose, bear. Hunted with savage 99 in 308 and a Husquvarna 6.5x55 exclusively. Just traded a brno cz 8mm for a brand new remmington 770 in 308 with scope and sling. I'm not sure how I feel about that. The 8mm was pretty beat up original condition. I wanted a new moose rifle with scope. The rem has what I need but not very good reviews. The mauser is a great gun but not what I needed. Still have the six five [I'll never get rid of that one]. It's been tastefully bubba'd, sprterized with williams peep.Always looking for interesting buys/trades/projects etc. Interested mostly in milsurp and maybe a few more levers. Take it easy, Dave
 
Thanks for the warm welcome. I should probably note that I have been bowhunting longer than with guns. I have plenty of years experience with rifles, theres just not alot of room to use them around here. I bowhunt pretty much in my backyard and have to travel a few hours to be able to use anything bigger than a .250.
