So what was your first gun and where did you get it. I got mine from my Grandfather. A Cooey ACE 1 and I still have it. His Mother bought it from the Eatons book for $3.99 brand new. It was the same thing as buying a pair of shoes then. I have some nice guns that are worth a lot more to collectors but none are worth as much to me as that old ACE 1. I would never part with it.

I learned to shoot on a Mossberg 140K that my dad bought in 1949. I still have it in the safe and will be passing it on to my kids when they are old enough. Hopefully that rifle will make it through many generations in our family before it turns to dust or the Libs outlaw guns in Canada.

Mine is a Marlin 25M. Still have it, hopefully I will hand it down to one of my kids some day. I got it for Christmas when I was 12.

Here is a picture of my wife shooting it.

The first gun I fired was a winchester 1300 shotgun 12 ga when my g'pa took me out goose hunting with him when I was 8, the first I bought was a rem 870 sps 12 ga 31/2" super mag

The first gun that I bought with my own money was a .22 Cooey 64. I bought this rifle in 1969 when I was 17. I paid $44.00 brand new at K-mart.I paid for the rifle and a 100 cartridges and walked out of the store,no PAL or registration required.I kind of miss those days.

Winchester Model 63, got it when I was 12 from my grandfather and I have his .22 now, he is long gone, but his Winchester model 61 and my 63 will be my sons, (along with a Sh-load of other .22s).... nothing connects the generations like a .22

CIL 470 Anchultz(sp?)made in west germany With a 10round mag. Dad gave it to me when i was 10ish. Ive probably shot 10000+ rounds through it. I still outshoot all my friends with their 22s and scopes and i shoot open sights. Bottom of the mag busted off back when my dad had it and its had numerous electrical tape jobs throughout the years to hold it together. I can honestly say, ive never taken it apart to clean it. Maybe run 1-2 brushes through it in all the years ive owned it and it still shoots like a frekin lazerbeam!!
