Little place in Prince Albert SK called air guns plus www. airgunsplus .ca
He mostly concentrates on target pistols/rifles, and what not, but at the time (Jan. Feb. '09) his was the best price anywhere on a 10/22..... I do belive I got the last one at that price..... His current price is $289.
The best part was he was coming to my city a week later so I didn't have to pay shipping!! I also bought 1000rnds of Lapula from him at the same time (he stocks a few different brands of target .22 ammo)
Really friendly fellow, good smooth transaction...... I found out later that his farm is about 5 miles from my Uncles farm up there and they are good friends!

The prices for the new ones will drop as dealer inventory starts to reflect the higher $CAD. I have a hunch that people are selling them for the 597VTR and/or the other factory tacticool .22s that are here or possibly coming, like the MP15-22.

All I have to say is, I'll be a beliver when they show me a vid of the 10/22 after it shoots 5000rnds Rapid fire and the "plastic" trigger group isn't a puddle!!

, the Glock 18 is my fave handgun.....
well... i guess I'll just shoot 500-800 rds less and it'd save up for my stupid mistake of not checking for cheaper price...
though this will be my first 10/22, I was planning on swapping out this stock blued barrel and buying a new barrel from FABSPORT or something for that 20' crazy lookin barrel.
then slap on an ATI stock and I'll be good to go.

$299 isn't a bad price for a NIB 10/22........ You can find cheaper ones out there.... But they are a litttle hard to find.
I highly reccomend that you mod out a 10/22...... I belive it is a "right of passage" that every 10/22 owner must go through!
