Nice paper weight. When was the last time you actually shot it. 12.2, 12.3 and 12.5 are as good as dewats.

My opinion is it that is a sheer coincidence.
I realize there are some guys who are motivated to sell under the perceived threat of prohibition, and that for others, the price of ammunition and scarcity of surplus ball might be a reason too.

Kind of like a nuclear weapon , Don't use it. But keep it maintained & ready to go if needed . Its resting next to my FN L1A1 . No I haven't shot them for several yrs but I know they will work just as good as the last time i did .
Unlike a dewat that is like you said a paper weight

Quite frankly, seeing a dozen M14s rifles for sale on the EE is a small percentage of these guns in Canada. It is tax time, it is spring time, things are cyclical, people just got over the whole "M14s will be restricted/prohibited" scare, blah blah blah. Pick a reason, maybe several. On the plus side, its a great time to buy as there is a bit of selection in terms of builds available for sale I bought a few more recently (three are at Dlask right now for some work) and I couldn't be happier
I bought a few more recently (three are at Dlask right now for some work) and I couldn't be happier Yeah, I put my folder up...but I am keeping more, definitely not worried about the platform at all. I love the M14! Just felt like some change is all.
