Gentlemen of Gunnutz, I know that powder may seem scarce but if you look it is out there. Some people on here are asking way too much for opened jugs. An 8lb of ****** is 210 at Hummasons and some one is asking 300 for an opened partially consumed jug. I for one will not pay more than advertised price for powder or pills or casings. Especially when they have been opened, Honestly once you open that jug or bottle of powder, even if you didnt use a single grain, you should take 10% off of what the advertised price is.

Its like buying a car for 25,000.00 running through 2000.00 worth of gas and then asking 28,000.00 when you sell it.

I hope this community helps other reloaders instead of trying to reload for free.

This is my 30 second RANT

It's a free market economy ..... don't like the price then just keep moving! Lots of overpriced stuff on the EE ...... don't worry, after a while you'll become immune to it LOL!

Free market. The price of a thing os whatever its purchaser will pay. This has its ups and downs, but a free market is the best market.

Gents, I am just startin a conversation. Don't take it to heart, just sayin we are our own worst enemies by drivin prices up, sometimes causin hoarders within our own community. I have what I need and if someone in the local area needs anything feel free to ask. If I can spare it I will, and if I don't need nor want something anymore I will discount it to get it off my shelf and get what I need or trade equal for equal quantity wise.

Trying to "profit" with little to no effort is what some call entrepreneurial. Many a folk have based careers on middle man profit and nothing else. Some prey on the week or needy , it is life but it does show character.

Sometimes it is just good for a laugh , I know people that will pick an item out of the garbage and try sell it.

KellyP .......... sounds like you've got a good attitude but once you've been around here for a while you'll find there seems to be a thread like this started every week. Nothing personal .....just most of us have become immune to the EE and don't get bogged down in overpriced stuff ...... we just keep looking for those elusive bargains that do crop up from time to time. There are some good buys but you have to keep you eyes open and don't hesitate. With respect to overpriced stuff ...... eventually the seller will realize, after weeks of being bumped to the top with no new inquiries, and will either delete the ad or reduce the price. I've seen a few ads on the EE that have been bumped so many times I honestly wonder why they bother.

Boltonscouter.... Thanks for the heads up, I am relatively new to this site and hopefully I will be able to help people out when and if i can. I agree after some time I will probably "ignore" these kinds of posts on EE, but I grew up on the farm, I have morals and ethics and to be honest I will always try to help out. I have jumped on a couple sweet deals on here so far, but due to my upbringing I will always speak up when I think I should.

I have come to realize that friends are the kind of people that will get up at 3am drive 2hrs to give you a hand at a moments notice, the rest that just answer the call and do nothing are acquaintances. I seem to see a lot of people on here that you can rely on and can call friends, the rest are just acquaintances in search of friends.

My $.02......

Yes if you can get past a few of the "special personalities" we have on CGN (you'll soon figure out who some of them are LOL!) you'll quickly find there are lot's of good people here more than willing to help if/when possible.

It's nice when you live near Hummasons and can pick up but shipping is KILLER!! Something like over a $60 -$100+ from a few quotes on a 8+lbs of powder. Especially out West here we don't have a place like Higginson or Hummasons cost get driven up due to shipping. Cost vs need vs local....meh.
