Whats with your current price on Glocks?

most of the glocks were 1000 and change. Kinda shocked me as Glocks are suppose to be cheaper then most.
 
Why are all Canadians under the mercy of the United States Of America DOLLAR and their economy. I really don't understand the so called free trade between Canada and the U.S.A.
WE ARE ALWAYS PAYING DOUBLE SOMETIMES TRIPLE ( regardless of the exchange rate !!!) on the same exact items that are sold in the U.S., no matter where the items are manufactured !!!
Something smells fishy !!???

Free trade and supply and demand are two different things all together.

Free trade means that any items made in the country in which the agreement is in place, will not be charged duty when it crosses the into Canada.

Supply and demand dictates why we pay more than American's for almost everything. There are 10 American's to every 1 Canadian. That in itself means that Company A in the USA will sell more to Company B in the USA then Company C in Canada. The fact that almost every USA State is a bigger gun market than all of Canada, especially concerning what we consider Restricted is a whole other story.

You have 100 guns to sell. You are in The US Mid West where a majority of the USA gun manufacturers are. Would you rather sell your 100 guns to Bob's Guns in Idaho 5 times a year ? Or 100 guns to "Pick a Distrubutar for all of Canada" 4 times a year? It's pretty simple. Less costs equals more money.

Glocks are still selling all over USA for $550 to 600 USD.

To be paying $1000 CAN for a Glock, the exchange would need to be at about $1.70 (which it isn't).
 
Glock manufacturing has moved from Austria to Georgia in the us, so newly made guns are out of the Usa. So glocks will cost more than they used to for awhile due to this. If rates in canada are too high, use irg.
 
Please check our web site. Our old (2014) inventory is at the old price for as long as that inventory last. One of our staff was asked to calculate new prices and they then applied that to all in stock models, this was an internal misunderstanding. We have corrected that. Any Glocks not in stock will be priced when we receive the invoice for them, the price will increase due to our weaker Canadian dollar, sadly this is a fact of life and outside of our control. I hope that clears up the situtation

LOL - Those "chinese characters" are proof marks. Proof marks are usually found on firearms made in European countries. Like Austria. I assume you're new to firearms. :)

If one dig in dealers inventory, there is still great deal to be found at the old prices... JP.
 
Even with a $1.30 exchange rate, a $1000 Glock still makes no sense whatsoever.

Unless the US Exchange is at $1.70 to our dollar, that's way too high.
 
I was gonna buy a glock the other night when i saw that pricing, i instead ran to wanstalls and picked one up. Turned out as wolfie said it was a price screw up but still glad i bought one now as i wont when they go to those prices.
 
They really went up in price, at the end of 2013 i bought brand new G21/G17/G22 all 3 Gen 4 for just south of 2K all in... Really big change in times... JP.

Unless you are looking to buy a Sig... I am pining for one of the new 10mm Sig P220s, but if the price jumps to the neighbourhood of C$2000, my love may be unrequited.

Fortunately, quality firearms will last a lifetime if they aren't abused. I'm a lot more concerned about ammo cost/availability.
