What's wrong with my NEA15 BCG?

I've made no bones about the fact that I like my NEA15 and that it has run flawlessly since the day I got it. Your hard-on for NEA must be pretty strong though for you to resort to schoolyard name-calling.

See if the Bolt catch moves freely with out the upper installed

one of the guys brought one into my shop and the Bolt catch hole in the lower was not to spec.

you ever heard of "the pot calling the kettle black". And yes I am stunned that an nea rifle functioned without being sent back three times. They must have had norinco make it and then stick the NEA logo on. Perhaps that explains the new generation of NEA rifles. Do they put stickers on the boxes that say "NOW WITH FUNCTIONING PARTS!!!!!" now?

Hmmm, pot...kettle...black...nope, can't say I've ever heard of that one ;). Nester called me a shill but I don't recall calling anyone names. Nester doesn't really think I am a shill, he is just stirring the chit and I get that.

But hey if you really think most NEA rifles have to be sent back 3 times to function, heck if you think most NEA rifles are being sent back even once, well there is nothing I can do about that. They've had some serious QC issues and some serious CGN PR issues, no one in their right mind would dispute that, but that is not to say they have not or can not or will not make terrific ARs.

Here is what I can do: I'm not sure where you are in Ontario but if you are anywhere near the KW area I'll bring my NEA carbine to your club and let you shoot the hell out it and I'll even bring the ammo and the coffees. We're both gun nutz so I doubt there is anything some trigger time and coffees can't solve

its like NEA personally when to their houses and kicked their dogs or something

I like mine, great gun. but what do I know, I just own one.

Its not a personal thing, If you want to go shoot we can do that but It won't be till october or so, My shop is so full of work I don't see a day off coming for quite some time. lokking forward to seeing you.

You probably didnt install it sitting in your bathtub with a headlamp and a gerber.

Sometimes aftermarket stuff will wrench up your gun. Bolt hold open is probably the B.A.D or a junky mag. Wait and see. This will go pear shaped if he still has failure to cycle at the double quick time.

Try another mag too, try 3 just for ####s.

good luck.
