Trying to sell a bubba as genuine, or am I missing something here ?

why do you call it a bubba? the only thing i see out of the ordinary is the after market flash hider, that could be taken off , otherwise it is as advertised . i see a russian tula sks45 1951, refurb, its in excellent shape but no mention whether it is all matching.

price is a little high even for the US but hey!!! its being sold by a dealer so what do you expect?

This Tula Siminov SKS is one of the most sought after versions of the SKS. This Tula was made in 1951 and was rearsenaled at some point and fitted with a laminate stock and refinished. This rifle has a 20" chrome lined barrel, blade bayonet, round tip fore arm and a bird cage style muzzle suppressor. This rifle appears to have not been fired since the arsenal rework and shows very well with no wear.

there is a good chance that some of us will be getting similar to the above from SIR in a couple of months for a bargain price of $165.99 .:dancingbanana:

Oh, that ones a bargain at any price....it's a 1951 Tula!

It looks like it is in nice shape......but $500 is ridiculous.

I hope the $165 S.I.R. specials are just as nice too (with a little elbow grease!)

any sks45 that is not runned over by a tank is worth more then $165.99 , :D

just the laminated stock alone is worth half that and like you said a little elbow grease, stripping and apply a few new coat of poly to bring it back to its former luster (only if its in bad shape otherwise best to leave it alone).
