Whats your 30-06 recipes

Resurrecting my old 06 and got 165 and 180 accubonds on hand. Any help appreciated

I used a165gr Hornady IL for practice.But for hunting i used a 165gr NP.I shot
one Moose through the boiler room, the Moose did not even walk away10ft.
And i found my gun shot better with a165gr.

Reloder 22 works well with the 165 Accubond in my '06. Very good velocity and accuracy.

I don't recall the powder charge but it's all the powder that you can vibrate into the case and then seat the bullet to compress.

winchester case ,cci 200 primer,48.5 gr varget,150gr nosler ballistic tip. for my rem 700 col is 3.38'' .6" group at 100yrds.

58gr of H4350, 165gr accubond.

Come to think of it, all my loads 168 nosler b-tip, 165gr. accubond, 165 gameking, 168r TSX all use 58gr. of H4350.

Killed every type of game here in BC except Bison with IMR 4831 powder 55 gr. and 165 Gr. Nosler spitzer partitions.

Very happy with this as a game load for Moose, Deer, Elk and bear.

I have seen some and owned some and still do that shoot in the .3" at 100 with 168gr match kings with 4831 & h414 and Imr 4895 and RL19, 5 shots at 300 under 1.5" in a hunting gun.
These powders all work great in 30.06 but what I look for is the fps with least preasures, I pick-up a pound of RL 17 today and from what I have read you could get 100fps and less pressures with this new powders. I will be testing soon.

I have found that 54.5 grn's of H4350 under a 180 Hornady BTSP gives me 2641 FPS and very nice grouping.

Same here and its knocked down any critter I've ever pointed it at. Oh boy elk season is here soon!

Winchester case, Winchester Large Rifle Primer, 52 grs. of IMR 4064 and this load seems to like every 165 gr bullet I stuff in the case.
