3 boxes american eagle .223 (need much more)
6 boxes blazer brass 9mm
7 boxes fiocchi 9mm
6 boxes fiocchi 12ga slug
1 box winchester .270

should be fun.

yup thats not much, I take more then that in 9mm alone for a few hrs at the range..

my pics are boreing my ammo is in crates or cans

most/many of us here buy by the crate its cheaper and stock up while its avail for milsurp!

You didn't specify between ammo types (Factor vs. Reloads).

I haven't counted my current factory ammo, but I do know it is somewhere around 4-5K in rounds. (Not including rimfire 22LR and 22 WMR)

I have 6720 rounds of 7.62X39 Czech still in the unbroken crates and about 2000 rounds out of two open crates, 1600 rounds of 7.62X54 in two unopened Czech crates and about 500 - 600 loose rounds from various manufactures.
Then I have an ammo lock up

I don't know exactly how many rounds are in there, has to be several thousand factory rounds plus several hundred reloads. I am an ammo hoarder, guilty as charged.

whats that down below det cord and semtex? looks like an old commercail fridge

Must say you got me beat... I'm still looking for some battle packs of 308... maybe a couple crates

I'm using six old school lockers and only have about
6K 9mm
8k 223
4k 40
3k 45 ( gotta get more of that)
20K 22
1k 22M
2k 38SP
about 5 boxes of 357 Mag (gotta get more)
about 1k 308 (not near enough)
the remains or a case of 7.62x39
and about 2K of assorted 12 gauge from 00 to slugs to flares...

Thats off the top of my head.. I probably have a bit more and few more calibers... I gotta clean it up and organize it some point..

oh man, you guys are awesome.... time to stock up.. no need to feel guilty any more. keep in mind i just started getting guns not long ago, less than a year by far. but really, now i have a goal...

I gotta admit.... I fell a little imasculated.

I usually only store about 100 - 200 .243 of various loads and bullet types. Then about 50 .303 just in case there's a spur of the moment hunt.

I normally reload the day before a trip to the range with the exception of .22lr. There's usually a few bricks hanging out in the reloading room.

Here she be in all of her glory.

Some of them legally purchased, some for .40SW others for .45auto, more for 9mm and all of them Hollow.

Joking about the legally purchased part.

I think its good enough to protect me from the Boogie Monster.

i like the wall safe, woud like to do something similar when i get a house, for now the apt will remain un modified

Thanks, its my own little slice of heaven handy work. I've got a little mig welder that I bought a while ago for 5 or 6 hundred. Pretty handy to have around. I suppose it would be a little better if I actually knew how to weld.

I just went out and bought 4 little hinges and some lengths of 4" wide 1/8 steel plate. I actually welded the damn thing without first busting a hole in my wall to see exactly how much room I had (FYI - I like to Red Green everything). It turned out that I only had 3" of room to play with so the safe actually sticks out of the wall 1" or so. I had to "modify" the picture hanging over it by making it a little deeper so that it would completely cover the safe. Not something I was intending on doing, but that's how I roll.

The wall safe is for hollow point's only. Not sure why but I love collecting them. I've got some stuff that isn't all that readily available in Canada at least.

The ammo safe on the floor with my shooting bag is for cheap FMJ stuff that I blast off whenever I can. The other safe has an electronic access on it for easy access and holds my handguns and important paperwork.

When is the war starting:D:D:runaway:

I think I have about 4K total of mixed 22LR, .303, 12ga, .308, 7.62x39 and .223. Personally though, I know I'm severely under-gunned with that volume :( I can't wait to get out of school and add a couple orders of magnitude!!

Although, one handy thing about having so little ammo is that most of it fits nicely into old ammo crates I dump silica crystals into. I hate tarnished brass!
