And it is far from over, my first load devellopment on my custom 6.5 Creedmoor show promising results with .3- .4 MOA before the ladder test, this will be continued when i come back from France... Tourlou... JP.

While not the tightest group I've ever shot it is the best "real world" group I've ever shot. The group at #1 was shot with the 6.5 Creedmoor at 300 yards prone from the bipod in a light variable crosswind. It measures just under 1.25".

Both groups were shot with my .284. First picture is 5 rounds at 264 yards (had some kind of fit on shot #3 and watched my reticle crawl across the page as the shot broke:mad:). The second picture is at 618 yards. It measures a bit under 1-1/2" and CGN buddy 'Shooter---/' witnessed. To be perfectly honest, I couldn't quite make out the hits from that distance, so I just shot three to wrap up the day and was pleasantly surprised when I retrieved the target (no sh*t, right?)!

Since then, I've only been out twice and have just shot steel.

So after a frustrating time with my 308 Win and Reloader 17, as well as a scale that is no more, I worked up some loads with R17 and 210 gr Matrix bullets. I had 10 loadings worked up, most were 1 to 3" max, but this was the best. Overlapping holes at 100 m, this group is 300 m.

Not as impressive as some.... but very proud of it nonetheless, at 300 meters, bedded but other wise stock .308 sps. A 178amax sitting on 42.1g of varget with cci 200 primers. Cant wait to see what my best might be now that its sitting in an HS stock, bedded and now sports a timmney sitting at 2.5 lbs. Then on to my Krieger that gets in after hunting season is over..... hopefully get to see what is really possible for me.

300m? It doesn't get much better than that! That looks like about 0.80" center to center, or about 1/4 MOA.

I figure Gordie belongs on this list. Beat that!

He shot this on target 31 which we refer to as magpie ally because it's the toughest target on the range.

Game, set, match! :) Friggin' impressive, more so that I've had the pleasure of meeting him at the range and he was a super guy to just chat with, no chip on his shoulder and all that bs.

This is my brother's doing, Rem 5R .308 chopped to 18". Four shots into 7/8", the fifth opening it up to a smidge under 3" at 500M.

True. Very happy. But must stress, results not typicallol. Can usually keep it under 2" easily when I take my time though. If nothing else, gives me something to work towards to make more consistent.

Very nice!

yeah very nice rifle bongo.......saweet.

for me ,sorry dont have pics though...... last march did a 3 shot group at 1040 yards .... 3.975 " and another 4 shotter at 6.7- 6.9 " i think
same rifle different barrell/load 3 shots 600 yards ..... 1.2 "- 308 win
my latest target rifle in 338 edge just gave me a 3 shot group at 300 that was .596"- think i found my handload for it finally, gotta test out again
all the above were off a bi pod, with a sock of popcorn at back rest

last but not least my 204 ....shot a 4 shot group at 100 with a lead sled (testing out a new recipe with varget).....yielded .098" , basically same hole ,just a little nick on
bottom of the main hole . still have that one.

think my 308 ,will group 4 shot strings around .4 " at 200 yards if im on my game. .......for some reason 4 shot groups work for me, the pressure of that 5 th on is huge....or it turns out to be a flyer and then i swear.
