It's time to switch to a new powder. Was using 4.0gn of W231 and shot very well.
I have 8lbs of titegroup now. I'm trying to develop a load and I played tested 3.3-3.6gn. My P226 cycles fine even at 3.3gn. I think I'm going to settle with 3.5gn.
Just wondering your favourite loads with this powder and bullet. I'm making them from used WW, water dropped.
I'm out of lead too... If anyone wants to unload their stash of used WW in the GTA. PM and I'll pay you the going rate per 5G bucket ($20).
Update: I shot 50rds with 3.5gn today. Shoots great and I think it's accurate enough for me. Almost no leading either. I don't know why I read somewhere else that titegroup is not good for lead bullets b/d burn rate too fast and will cause leading. This guy must be loading 'em hot. At least I know at 3.5gn, it's totally fine and feels like just 4.0gn of W231
