What's your favorite .264 bullet?

I have tried the 139 Scenars in my .260 AI and they shot well but it seems that the 140 Bergers fly better and maybe even the 130 Bergers too(still working on this load). I was worried about the seating depth using the Bergers because I am feeding from a mag but the load worked well from the start and got better with some minor tweaking. When
I say that the Bergers fly better in my rifle do undestand that it is marginally better.
If you can find any Reloader 17 give it a try(its working really well for me), if not try H4831sc.

Im shooting 123 Scenars in my 8 twist Gaillard hunting rifle. Shot six groups @ 460 yards yesterday, this was my best group! worst was 3.7" ( 3 shot groups)

Im using H4350, 43.3 grs for 2940 fps avg (23" tube)

Ive tried 140gr Berger vld, 142 SMK, 140gr Nosler custom comp, Hornady 140 amax. all shoot pretty well.

for one, I'm into buying half boxes of your guys left over bullets to try...

and two.. I was going to buy bergers from a sponsor for learning how to shoot my Tikka and I was talked into trying SST's instead. Pretty early I found out that if I try really hard, 47.5gr of H4831sc, a 129gr SST, Fed 210 primer in a Norma case seated at 2.941 OAL does between .6 and an inch center to center :) It's a lightweight hunting rifle with a B&L 3000 elite 2-7x33 scope. I love it. If I do worse than that I know it's me because I wiggled. The Tikka's nice trigger (compared to most hunting rifles) helps a lot.

I'm not an awesome shot on paper. I do well hunting but paper has always been hard on me.

129gr SST is my favorite.

This has Jerry written all over it! :)

Try different bullets. Each gun like different things... Tikkas are incredible shooters and I bet you have even more surprises up your sleeve with that gun.
