I like Winchester 231/HP-38 because I can use it for 9mm, .45, and .38spl. An 8lb jug goes a loooooong way

Looks like for 9mm you can use just about anything !!!! Should have been a poll with 1st and 2nd choice and for what power factor.

I bought longshot because there was nothing else available. I found that 5.2 grains behind a 124 gr BDX gives me a PF of 132. I quite like this recipe

how well does it burn? and is it dirty? what gun?

i've really wanted to try longshot, but lebaron never orders any. i really want to try it for my 500 mag, but would be good to see how it runs in 9mm and 45acp.

For lead bullet accuracy - 3.2 to 3.6gr Titegroup

For power with jacketed bullets - Power Pistol

WSF for 115 and 124g jacketed, 124g cast at standard velocities in 9mmx19.

I've used a bunch of HS-6/W540 in the past.

Surprised no one has mentioned WST. Clean burning, some of my best groups shot with this powder. WSF works almost as good with 124 gr. bullets.

I burned a LOT of 700X in a CZ75 and a Luger. But then, I use 700X in .38 Special as well.

I use Titegroup as well for all my pistol rounds.

I've only used Power Pistol to this point. Certainly produces better ammuniton than the bulk reloaded stuff I was buying. Surprised only a few other people have mentioned it. Do other powders meter out better?
