what's your favorite game?

Bone-in mule deer chops slow cooked in a crock pot in a honey-garlic marinade for 8-10 hours. It is really great for those 12 year old does we occasionally shoot by accident ................ ;)

Snow goose legs, browned in butter and garlic in a hot pan and then cooked in a slow cooker for half a day, along with a whole chopped orange, chopped fresh mushrooms & onion, a couple cups of red wine, some bay leaves, seasoned with Lawry's salt and fresh ground pepper. Fall off the bone tender and absolutely delicious over a bed of wild rice.
And to think some people only use the breast meat!

1 - ruffed grouse - cubed, pan fried and served on a bed of spicy Spanish rice.
2 - frogs legs - fried in garlic butter
3 - venison - cubed and cooked into a stew with large chunks of onion, carrot and turnip
4 - squirrel - skewered on kabob sticks and cooked on an open fire.

Whitetail or Mule Deer. The one's that are corn & alphalfa feed. Not the ones that eat pine needles and old telephone books. Raunchy

Grouse - Sharpie / Ruffies / Spruce.

Elk.

I don't mind moose - but I find it a bit strong.

Moose. A 1/2" steak in a ripping hot cast iron pan with a little oil for about 12 seconds per side. Add a loaf of chewy Italian bread and a Chianti and I've got everything I need - well, almost.

I've tried everything mentioned so far ... ( 'cept that wooly in high heels ! ) from Antelope to Musk-Ox, and most everything that runs or flies in between... but I'll go with stubblejumper ... wild sheep ribs on the barby is by far the best red meat I've ever tasted ... game or domestic ! Also partial to well-fed
Cans & Reds. And to Caribbean Quail... barbecued over coals with a squeeze of lime. Best enjoyed with moros y critianos and a mohito or two under the palm trees - caps off a nice day behind a good pointer !
