Whats your favorite hunting scope!

Depends on what rifle I take.
Mostly changing over to Leupold 3x9, 2x7 and 40/33/28 objective.
Have an old B&L 2.5x10-50 on Pah's blessed gal.
Has the Command Post pop up reticle.
This is a great scope.
It's been fixed once on warranty. Don't know if I will ever get it back
if it happens to give up the ghost again.

Burris Six X 2-12 x 40 aluminated reticle. Low enough for walking in the bush, yet enough to count to help points when the 8x binoculars wont cut it.

Leupold VX3 3.5-10 x 40 B&C reticle. I'm not sure how many of these I have now, but its hard to find a hunting situation they won't handle or a rifle they won't fit on. Slim, trim, light, bright, long non-critical eye-relief and as near as I can tell, bullet-proof.

I bought two of those because of your recommendation!!! one for my 30-06 and the other for my 300WM, I also got a pair of swarv 10x 42 binos......I broke the cycle!

I haven't tried it "in the wild" yet, but I know this VX-R 3-9x40 with a Firedot Windplex reticle will easily be my personal favorite out of this and the five others I own. Granted this scope cost quite a bit more than my other scopes, but the glass works really, REALLY well with my eyes. The best part is there is a little dot right in the middle of the reticle that has five brightness settings, or off for just a plain old reticle view. There is a button for the brightness settings and on/off function to the left of the windage and elevation turrets. It looks like it should be an AO, but it's just a button. Hopefully that little dot will find its way to the boiler room of a moose this fall!

Weaver Classic K4.
Nice scopes and are a great value. Bright, light click adjustments. The only negative is that they are a bit short on long actions. I've had a few over the yrs and sold them to friends who liked them. I still have one that will be going on my 22/250. A good 4x is perfect for a general hunting rifle. I have a 4x on my 30/06 as well.

A scope that I have had for 30+ years and has been on a couple rifles, a VXIII in 3-9x40. The new ones are probably better & I agree with Dogleg 3.5-10 or 4-14 might be better. There may be better but this serves me well. This is a good example of a quality scope lasting many years and a few guns. Save your dimes and spend once. I wish I had done this on my other scopes. (save a hundred bucks and replace 3 times)

Nightforce, NXS 2.5-10x42, MOA reticle. This scope has pretty good glass, MOA reticle that is illuminates & is adjustable, robust construction, with a lifetime warranty. I've hunted with NXS scopes for over 10 years now - pretty happy with them.

+1

Also Swarovski z3 3x10x42 brh reticle: brighter, lighter but $$$
All in all, my favorite: Leupold VX-6 2x12 or 3x18 with B&C reticle
