Just for fun, let's see some pics of your favorite treasures you've gotten from the EE over the years.

I put this in the pistol section, but put up whatever you want.

To start us off, here is my entry: a couple of years ago a guy was advertising a commercial (non-police surplus) HK PSP, and he was claiming it was unfired. He wanted $1,500. Sounds too good to be true right? When were there ever any non-police surplus PSP's in Canada?

Well, I took a chance on this, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my collection. Completely unfired. Looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. "IA" ("80", i.e. 1980) date code. Arlington Virgina marked (which is not common, Chantilly or Sterling are more common). Original paper box, from back when guns used to have paper boxes. Two mags. Manual in German (must have been the really early days of import to the U.S. indeed!). The only thing wrong with it is the 33 year old paper box is scuffed up. Otherwise is like brand new.

It took the guy a couple weeks to sell it I think. I think people didn't believe him. Moral of the story... use pics in the EE. You can probably sell your stuff faster and for more money. $1,500 seems cheap for this, since I've never seen or heard of anything similar in all my years here on CGN.

Sitting on top of a P7M8 for some other thread I was working on one time(I'll come up with some new pics).

i'm buying it right now. i will send pics once it arrives.

my least fav tho was buying 5 glock clips for $50 and then getting stiffed

This is my EE treasure find. A BNIB Colt O1911 WW I repro with an incredible charcoal blue "Carbonia" finish. They made 4400 of these between 2002 to 2004. Probably less then 20 made it to Canada. Really great gunnut sold it to me. I feel kinda quilty putting 1200 rounds through it after he kept in unfired in the safe for 10 years.

Nowhere near as nice as the ones above and no pics right now but mine is a Remington 11-87 I purchased somewhat reluctantly (as in it wasn't a gun I was dying to have but just seemed like a good deal so I just went for it). Apparently 11-87s have reliability issues but I had no idea until I read about it as the one I bought functions perfectly. I guess I lucked out.

I've never been able to post pictures. No matter how many times I'm told how easy it is, it never works out. Anyway, I've found quite a few EE "prizes", but I suppose the outstanding one is the S&W 547.

Have you fired that thing ? :)

I put an ad up for this beauty and I guy responded quickly and then recanted due to sentimental value. Understandably. Then it took me a few weeks to get him to part with it, but I finally got it.
It's a nickel finish 8 3/8" barrel Smith and Wesson Model 29-2, complete with original presentation box and grip tool. Owner got it from his father and it apparently only had a box of ammo through it. Minty condition.
I got it for what I considered a steal at $1100.00. Thanks to the fine gentleman who sold it to me. I will treasure it always.

lol, you said clip....

and 5 mags (which is what i assume you meant) for $50 even for knock offs let alone real glock mags is to good to be true.

Treasures I'm still on the lookout for:
Colt Delta Elite Stainless , stock, 10mm
IAI Javelina 10mm longslide
Franchi PA8, short model 8 & 1/2" barrel, w/double pistol grips & folding stock
Colt Python Hunter blued with factory scope
Barnett self-cocking Commando Crossbow

Patiently waiting and watching the EE.

mine came from the firearms canada buy and sell which can be a real gamble, alot of scams on that site.I found a new Lar Grizzly 1911 in 357 mag with two mags it came from a collector,it was there top of the line model in matte chrome and rosewood grips I don't think there is to many of these in Canada especially new and unfired.

Didn't come from EE, but none the less. I eventually convinced my co-worker to part with it. He had it since new and put less then a box of ammo through it. Unfortunately he didn't have the original box and papers with it.
