Whats your Stag 10 optics/sighting setup?

I'm currently putting together a stag 10 from parts in .308. Basically it's going to be a more general purpose rifle, not a super light weight close quaters, or any dreams of sub moa out to 1000yards.

Looking at sight/optics options. I would like a mill dot or similar reticle, but without exposed turrets. Max 10x is fine. Now I'm thinking this paired with offset backup sights would help instead of going to a wider magnification range scope?

Anyone making a quality capped turret mill dot scope?

Currently have a S&B 3 -20x50 on mine, it's a little too heavy for my setup. Thinking of trying a Leupold Mk5 HD 3-18x44 with tremor3 if I can find one for the right price.

I’m using a Bushell LRHSi 4.5-18. Capped windage but exposed elevation. Works really well and I love the reticle. Have it mounted in ATRS extra high rings.

Bushnell Engage 2.5-10x44. Might swap it out for a 1-6x at some point, depends on what I end up using it for.

yeah I see they have a new lineup now, the Forge, nitro, prime.... There are a few nitro options that are exactly what im after.

I’m in dense woods Ontario so I ordered my stag 10 in 6.5 with 20” barrel and a 1-6x viper gen 2

If I was in wide open Alberta or sask I would have gone 3-12 or 4.5-18x but out here there in no point as my longest shot is 400y and at 6x it’s usable and More likely than a 400y shot is something walks in front of me at 25-50y so 1x is a benifit.

I’ll post more once it arrives and I get out for the first yotes of the year.

yeah honestly 1-6 would be fine, unless one is doing load develepoment. And if im going with a sfp scope 10x max is where I would be at home. I had a 10x mk4 leupold for forever, i don't think im going to go back to a fixed 10x though.
