Whatsit worth? Henry repeating arms lever in .357 mag?

Buddy has a VG+ . Great shape. I think a trapper model. Been shot a little and could almost pass for new. He's thinking of selling for $950. Anyone think thats the right price?

IMO, thats a reasonable price based on your description,

New ones are @1300 if you can find one.
Saw a as new 30-30 side gate list on another gun site for $2000 and it sold within a day or two.

I have a Henry 357 carbine with a big loop, lots of fun to shoot.
