What is with the shortage of rimfires lately?? Im looking for a Savage FVSR and a a CZ 455 combo .22/.17 and nothing is instock in every gunshop across the country. Next to no 10/22's either?? Whats up? Id be willing to give a $10 finder fee for the 2 above rifles(Savage or CZ) if you can find them in stock with a dealer who ships for me. Only guy I won't buy from is Badger Arms.

It is that time of year, just after Xmas, the gift certificates are being cashed in, and the shows are in progress.
A Ruger order just arived last week and all six are gone.
The US demand at this time is gobbling up most of their production trying to fill the domestic void.
The alternative is to follow the EE religiously. Since hunting season endsit seems like there is a page a day in some areas.
