There is no reading of the rules...there is NO rule that states you cannot travel from Point A to Point B from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise. The ONLY rule is NO HUNTING of wildlife at that prescribed time.
Hunting, to me, means firearm in your hands or readily accessible(i.e on seat beside you uncased.) Firearm fully encased(and Locked furthermore) is not being used for hunting...you are merely transporting it from camp to hunting area.
