When Do You Belong to the Black Rifle Club

When you find a problem and can fix it yourself. (with a little help from CGN)
When you wreck a gas tube trying to pull it out of the block
When you try and stuff an upper in the freezer because you can't loosen the barrel nut
When a mag doesn't work and you just throw it away
When you realize you can take off and put on handguards without even thinking about it
When you carry it downrange to change your target because you don't want to look back and see a car driving off with your Ar 100 yards away

...more?

When all firearm owners accept that ALL firearms are the same, they fire a projectile, irregardless of their visual cosmetic appearance.

I beg to differ... But then again.. I guess all cars are the same (5 wheels and a engine) all houses and all people... Heck a Liberal and a green are the same as an NDP'er and a conservative...

They may be similar but I know virtually nothing about black powder guns and little about shotguns... A black rifle may be similar to a target rifle but they are different animals...

When you purchase your first AR15, no exceptions.

I'm in with Sparrow on this one. Didn't find any official definition of Black Rifle on the web, but when you search in wikipedia, they redirect you to the AR15 page. Any way to me a black rifle (for civilians) is an AR15 or AR10 type.

Well, if wikipedia says it's so....

I guess I'll have to take my Swiss and start a "grayeen rifles club".

Good thing we're all sticking together on this one!

Neal I'm sure you'll be able to get a temporary "visitor" BR membership card untill you get your hands on a good AR (i.e. one that wasn't Queen milspec issued)..:D
