When a call of duty nerd shoots the rifle. That's when it becomes a sniper rifle.

I play call of duty most nights. that makes me a nerd? And that makes all of my rifles, "sniper rifles"? People who play video games are not worthy of the sport? Is that what you are saying?

There are just my last 4 "oneshot, one kill" bucks with this "sniper rifle"

So ya...Us "nerds" can shoot too  :kickInTheNuts:

Snipe= a shot, esp a gunshot, fired from a place of concealment. So technically a "sniper rifle" would be a rifle used to to fire a shot from a place of concealment. So any of my hunting rifles are a "sniper rifle". But I dont call them that.

Wtf?
Snipe- A game bird that was hunted in parts of Europe and North America in the 1800s to the present because of the difficulty to hit one and successfully complete the hunt.

sksavenger- Someone who has been playing Call of Fruitcake too long.

Look at the other definnitions. If you know how to read.

If it can hit it's target from over 200 yards away, it's a sniper rifle. As defined by the anti-gun bedwetters.

"No one needs to have a rifle that can shoot that far."

I do play call of "duty" more proof that you cant read. And that really makes no differance on anything. I guarantee I can outhunt and out shoot you any day of the week. Even if I spend an hour or two a night playing a game.

And you still cant answer what playing video games has to do with anything. Which is the whole point i tried to get across. I can prove it. I am a better hunter and shooter than you and you know it

And if you would read my first post on this thread more carefully instead of mouthing off like most young punks nowdays. I stated that "I dont call my rifles that" refering to sniper rifles.

Gotta love people who start an argument about definitions and suddenly accuse others of sucking at something.

My direct answer to this is that I believe video games create a certain mindset that make anyone feel like Rambo, and that I do not believe you are a better hunter than I am because you have no respect for anyone. Hunting on your own is no fun because it is a social sport. Has been for thousands of years. If no one wants to hunt with you, and you have trophies, it may mean you hunt, but you miss the point of it, and I don't think that constitutes proof of great hunting.

And back to my whole point. Does the fact that i play a video game, automaticly mean that i cant shoot or hunt well. And call my guns "sniper rifles?

What constitutes a punk anyway?

Someone who mouths off? You have that covered.

Someone who disrespects authority? I have been pushing myself for months to get into physical shape to join the CF. I think joining the authority would be a bad move for someone who disrespects it.

I am done with this conversation as it adds nothing to the discussion. If you want to carry it out further, PM me, and I may or may not respond.

I am sure glad you are so smart to know who was hunting with me. 3 outta 4 of those hunts were with hunting partners. And guess what. The one that was by myself, I still had fun. Because I enjoy hunting. But its nice that you try to tell me how my hunts went

CRAFTSMAN 441 this was the first interaction between DrawBlood and I. Who was trolling? I simply put a defanition from an online dictionary defining sniping and stated that i dont call my guns "sniper rifles". Read the whole thread in detail before beaking off. As you can see below, DrawBlood made up a defanition of me which was unprovoked. Which is trolling

The OP was trolling (and got banned for it, BTW), but it backfired and instead sparked a discussion amongst CGN'ers. So, yeah, unsuccessful troll is unsuccessful.

LOL, speaking of unprovoked. Where did that come from? You just fall into the sandbox vag first or something? Sheesh, lighten up.

Well, now that I'm here beaking off, I'll opine too. A rifle becomes a sniper rifle when it's built to be used by a sniper for sniping. Pretty simple, really. [/THREAD]
